In this post we will show you how to install Mac Emulator for Windows. Mac OS is the operating system that runs in Apple computers and Windows users might want to use the OS in their computer. Here we have shown how to download and install Mac OS in Windows.
We will install Mac OS in Windows. To install Mac OS in windows, download Virtual Box from Oracle’s Official Website.
- To install Mac OS in windows, Download Virtual Box.
- Make sure to download the Windows Version.
After downloading the Virtual Box, install it in windows.
Download the Mac OS ISO from support.apple.com
Setting up Virtual Box:
Click on New in the top left corner.
Enter Your OS name and click on Next. Be sure to note down this name as we will need it later.
Choose the Ram as 4GB RAM – 4096MB
Under Hard disk choose Create a virtual hard disk now
Under Hard disk file type choose Virtual Box Disk Image
Under Storage on physical hard disk choose Dynamically Allocated
Use the given icon to select a folder in the hard disk to store the VDI file.
Choose a hard disk space and click Next
Now Click on Create to create the Virtual Machine. As shown in the image above.
In the Dashboard, select the MacOS and click on the settings icon as shown in the image.
In the settings Icon, now click on the Advanced tab.
Now click on the Systems in the left pane
Uncheck Floppy in Boot Order
Open the Processor tab
Set the number of processor to 2.
Now click on Display and set the Video Memory to 128MB.
Now click on Storage on the left pane and select Empty in the middle pane and select the icon shown in the image.
Now Click on Empty and select Remove Attachment (not shown).
Remove the optical drive.
Add a SATA Controller as shown in the figure.
Now use the icon (in the image) and click on Choose Disk.
Now click on OK
This will set up the Virual Machine.
Enter the commands in Command Prompt:
Now run the following command in the command prompt to
Just replace the Your OS Name with the name you provided for your OS duing the Virtual Machine Setup.
Install Mac OS in Virtual Box:
After properly carrying out the commands, launch the Virtual Box and click on the start button.
After Mac Os has installed, follow the following steps
- Choose the language.
- Now click on Utilities.
- Select Disk Utilities.
- Select Virtual Box Hard disk in the left pane.
- Click on Erase.
- In the new pop up, Give a new name and click on Erase on the bottom right of the dialog box.
- Close the window and click on continue
- Select the new Disk space you created and click on continue.
- Click on Restart.
